If you have reserved a  family session or a session that includes a child 4 years or younger, posing can be challenging. Thus, the “semi-pose” comes in where we  try to snap a few poses, then let your child be him/herself and I just capture them as they are.  The majority of my children’s photos are from natural movement and emotions.

If you have an engagement of family session scheduled, I encourage you to start to use the resource of the internet, or even better the picture social network of  pinterest, to start to gather your inspirational poses that we can try. Certainly, I will have a few ideas as well, but this session is about you.  By starting to gather some ideas on your own “photography board” ,  I can simply peek at it to immediately understand the style or “look” that you want, and achieve that for you!
