Deciding a photographer is a very selective process., especially if you will be celebrating an event, capturing an occasion, or simply capturing your family moments. The average person spends about $200 for a typical family session.
~Standard sessions include at least 25+ HIGH-RESOLUTION EDITED jpeg images. That means that you can enlarge your image without losing quality. When selecting your photographer, take a closer look at what’s included in the package. What you find may surprise you. Some packages include a CD- but they could be of lower-resolution images , a limited amount of images, or no edits.
~I am passionate about my work. If you’ve met me beyond a “photo session” environment, you know that I LOVE to take photos. I bring my camera everywhere I go (you never know when you will get that photo op). Nothing makes me happier than to catch that perfect moment on camera to be relived for years, even decades, to come.
~I realize when you book a session, you are making several investments: money, emotion, and time. My hope is for you, or your children, or your grandchildren, to look back your pictures and fondly reminisce about that moment in time.
Looking beyond the price…
~Please understand that my job is not done after our session. I typically spend an additional 2-3 hours per 1 hour session editing your photos. Combine that with travel time and our prior communications to prepare for the session, equals much more than 1 hour devoted to making your photos perfect!
~Also, take into account the typical costs of doing business: licensing fees, supplies, software, and photographic equipment.
~My rates are relatively competitive to other photographers and they are very similar to the commercial studios (IE JCPenny, Picture people, etc). However, my standard sessions are simple: you get the edited digital images*- no need to pick poses.
~Your are getting my talent to position, frame, and edit your photos to hold and treasure for years to come!
*Note, certain specially priced packages will limit the amount of photos .
